Mr. Chong's portfolio is consisted of the MOFCOM General News Agency, MOFCOM Special Commissioners' Offices in different localities, and the Economic and Commercial Counselors' Offices of the Chinese Embassies in foreign countries. Assistant Minister Chong Quan on inspection tour to Special Commissioner's Office in Dalian

In the afternoon of March 30, Assistant Minister Chong Quan, and heads from General Office and Department of Finance of Ministry of Commerce of PRC, visited the special commissioner’s office in Dalian.

Mr. Chong Quan and heads from related offices went to the apartment building which is going to be renovated. Mr. Chong Quan put forward specific ideas for the renovation. Afterwards, Mr. Chong Quan visited the special commissioner’s office and held a talk with all comrades there.

Deputy special commissioner Ms. Jia Fengxian briefed them on the work and the renovation of apartment building. Mr. Chong Quan expressed warm regards on behalf of the Party group of MOFCOM and spoke highly of achievements attained by Dalian special commissioner’s office. He also expressed his hope that the office would continue its strong efforts and do a better job under the leadership of the Party group.
